Good morning wadau na wadauresses ๐. What a beautiful Monday morning ๐❤️. I promised to bring you some inspirational story every Monday cause it gonna be a positive vibes week๐. Oooh yes, pull a stool and a glass of warm water ๐ค๐ค.
Ayaa basi๐, nitakupeleka moja kwa moja hadi the book of John 5:1-15 where John takes us back to a remarkable healing at the Pool of Bethesda in Jerusalem. Jesus had come for some feast in Jerusalem. Wadau na wadauresses๐, a pool is a place of stagnancy. You are stuck, making no progress in life however much you tried. In Verse 5 we meet a man who lied by the pool waiting for his healing. Bethesda is the house of grace and mercy that literally means to be covered and surrounded by grace ๐ช. Can I get an amen? Thank you Kemmie for the amen at the back๐ ๐ God bless you ๐ .
From verse 3, "Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. [4] [b] 5 One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”
Wadau and wadauresses ๐, for clean 38 years, this guy had been lying at the pool waiting for the opportunity to get healed. Whenever he tried to get in the pool once the stirring happened someone would bypass him. Jesus Christ!๐ข๐ข๐ง
Every person who came here was sick and needy. Everyone had their troubles and therefore they wouldn't mind the troubles of the other party! When the angel of the Lord came down, he would stir the pool and whoever got in first would be healed of whatever disease.
7 “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”
8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”(C) 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked."
This man Jesus is all powerful ๐ช๐ค. Do you realize that he doesn't pull him into the pool for healing? Nooooo, He just said a word, "Get up, amkaaa, pick your mat and go" wadau I feel like preaching ๐๐ . Yaani, Yesu sema neno moja tu kuhusu maisha yangu๐๐
Lessons
First of all, I want you to understand that the condition of this man was not attractive. The Bible says that he was invalid but doesn't give a clear explanation of his condition. He must be old since he suffered for 38 years, dependent on other people, he wouldn't care for himself, he was probably dirty and smelly. He could not do anything for himself. He is a complainer and a blamer. In verse 5,7 he complains that he doesn't have someone to help him into the pool. In verse 10-13, when confronted by the Jews for carrying the Matt, he blames it on Jesus. He is a sinner since Jesus confronted him in the temple. He had all the unattractive character but am not dwelling on that but his healing๐ค.
The condition of most of us if not all is that we are waiting for something. What are you waiting for? When the day of favour comes, traditions and protocols are no longer in place. Divine favour doesn't care about your background, past, history! It brings an end stagnation. I declare that it's your time for your healing! You have waited for the longest time yes, you don't have to get into the pool, you just need his word and you will walk again! I need an amen here๐ค
And once you are healed, don't leave the mat behind carry it as a testimony!๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
Someone bring me the preacher's water๐ ๐.
The Jews are against the man carrying the Matt as the law forbid. " Usiende ukiambia watu, usitaje hiyo kabisaa, ni aibu kwa familia yetu. We have an image to protect." You understand, but once you get the healing, carry the testimony with you, He did it! Let the world know that he did it!!! He didn't follow the protocol! I honestly didn't have the qualifications for this job but he qualified me๐ช๐.
You have been seeing others establishing companies and businesses but once you tried, it was a big mess. You looked forward to complete school, almost getting a promotion, boom Corona came and instead of a promotion you get laid off. You have been living a life of almost there, I almost got that job, almost walked down the aisle, kidogo tu hivi niwe millionaire, almost getting a visa, almost building a house, but towards the edge of your breakthrough๐ข, you failed.
I beseech you and I, to have the faith of this man and declare that our destinies will no longer suffer denial in Jesus name. Every battle you have been fighting to do with delay and denial is terminated in Jesus name. May your blessings not be diverted in Jesus name. Let's realize that we carry a name that is above every other name. Remember every problem has an expiry date and as I finish, your problem could be LASTING BUT NOT EVERLASTING ๐ช❤️...

There is a Sunday school song in Kimeru that goes (forgive my spelling if I don't get it right) "Kariga gakuinaina*2 mucore tonya uthambe. Wethira wayitwe ni murimu jwa mbeca, Kariga gakuinaina mucore tonya uthambe ๐๐ค" it means, the pool has stirred, get in my friend. Whatever trouble you got will be taken away.
I wish you a beautiful last week of July ๐ฅฐ Blessings galore.
