So you think Amnon would disappoint?! Noo, he lay on bed and pretended to be ill. His father, King David came in to see him and Amnon said to him, "I would like my sister Tamar to come and make some special 🍞 in my sight, so I may eat from her hand."
David did as requested, he sent a word to Tamar in the palace to go to Amnon's house and have some food prepared. Remember this guy has servants in his house who would cook for him but haisuruu😏. Tamar went to her brother who was lying down. She took the dough and as she kneaded it, Amnon's eyes were on her. They say, kukula kwa macho😄. Well, Tamar did the cooking and on setting the serving tray, jamaa kataad to eat🤔. He sent all his servants out and asked Tamar to bring the food to the bedroom so that he would eat from Tamar's hands. Would Tamar suspect a thing? I don't think so, this is a blood brother🤷. Shock on her!
When she took the food to him, he grabbed her and asked her to come to bed with her.

The servant did as commanded. 

Tamar was on a beautiful robe since it was the kind of a robe worn by virgin daughters of the king. She tore the robe and put ashes on her head with her face in her hands crying 😓😰.

Her brother Absalom said to her, "Has that Amnon, your brother, been with you? Be quite now, my sister, he is your brother. Don't take this to heart." Brothers are so protective 🥰 but they forget so fast when salivating and messing with someone else's sister🤔.

Tamar lived in her brother Absalom's house, a desolate woman. When the king heard about this, he was furious and devastated 😓. Absalom NEVER said a word to Amnon, he hated him for disgracing his sister Tamar. Fear these guys who go silent without a word after wronging them. I will be covering his story on how he planned and killed his brother Amnon, way later. This guy can keep a grudge🤔.

Lessons

Lust is addictive and once you give yourself to it, you become a slave of sin and it's hard to resist.

Lust makes you guilty and isolates you from people. People hates more than they loved before. In this story, before Amnon got Tamar, he would do anything to get her since he thought he loved her but it was all lust, he hated her so much after the act. You will hear stories of rape whereby the victim is killed after the act. This is due to the too much hatred that comes along with this.

Lust is dangerous. It leads to sin and sin leads to death. Note that lust is attractive as well 😀.

Don't let sin dominate you. Like Job in the book of Job 31:1, he says I have made a covenant with my eyes, never to look at a woman lustfully. 1 Peter 2:11 says, guard yourself against the 'fleshly' desires that's fights your soul.
