Hope you all holding up well. Today I decided to narrate a story of a childhood friend famously known Kaume kaskati ama Kaume samaki😂😂😂.
First of all, let me explain the origin of his heroic name, Kaume kaskati 😅. Kaume was his real name. He happened to be a third born after his two sisters. Kaume grew up without identity, yanii, you wouldn't know whether he was a boy or a girl. How? What happened, whenever the big sisters' dresses and skirts were smaller, they passed them on to Kaskati. Kaskati is a kimeru name for skirt 😅. Sasa wadau, Kasikatî would be sent to look after their flock of sheep in dresses and people would address him as 'kamwali' yani kamrembo or a young girl if you like it. "Niatia kamwali?" "Ikwega" he responded. Believe you me, Kaume would respond after being referred to as a girl😅. He would put on the dresses until they were smaller for him🤣🤣🤣 and pass them over to the smaller brother.
Kasikati's father happened to have a pawpaw shamba nearer the forest. The monkeys were so rough with the pawpaws and Kasikati's father had to look for a way to save his anticipated harvest. After analysing all the options, he decided to have Kasikati take a look after the farm and keep off the monkeys. Wadau, better the devil you know😂, after a while, research indicated that Kasikati ate more pawpaws than the monkeys. You wanna know the aftermath?🤣 It wasn't good wadau 😂.

Sasa wadau, my friend Kaume loves his sleep too much. He went to college in Western. This day, mbogi yake ilimpeleka Country Bus to get his matatu to Western. Mdau wetu alikata tikiti and settled in his seat comfortably na akachapa black outðŸ¤. Weeuh,. Kidogo kidogo the passengers were transferred to a different bus due to few changes at the time. Wakurugenziii, mdau wetu hakusikia kitu. Usingizi njoo mwenyeji ajipate country bus the next day🤣🤣🤣.
Wadau, it's 7am and my nigga is confused! This place looked strange. He thought he would identify with his school environs but all he could see was NIBs😂
Sasa wadau, tutasaidiaje brathe? He went back to the booking office and they empathised with him. He was lucky to get another ticket. Did I tell you that he ever slept the whole journey from Mombasa to Maua? A journey of more than 10hours, Kasîkatî jamani!!
Wadau, since he slept at the country bus, he learnt his lesson and learnt to regulate his sleep.
My childhood chronicles!!😅
