FROM MY HEART TO YOURS

Wakurugenziii 😅😂 wadauuu, guess whose birthday today?🤭 Today you go call me your mkurugenzi mkuu😅💪, because you will be my carpet and am gonna catwalk on you😂.
My niece had mistaken my birthday for yesterday so I received a call from Sue, "Cicie, Tracy is here. She is so excited that it's your birthday and thought she would get you in the house! She even designed a card for you!♥️" Aaaww. Tracy is in form 1, she had some pocket money hidden that she acquired some snacks for me. The only 30 bob left after acquiring the snacks was to get biscuits for me once I arrived home. Kwani mapenzi ni nini wadau? This for me was exceptional love yanii. Imagine keeping savings for someone's birthday since the schools were closed due to covid 19. Aaaah, wadau, Mimi napendwa🥰.

I almost sang, "it's my birthday*2 , I must spend my money" then I heard my account laugh so sarcastically and I had to alter the lyrics to, "it's my birthday*2, I should be greatful for 26 damn beautiful years 😅"

Wadauuu, watu wanazeeka,🤭, thatee is waving from a distant. I hope akona mazuri😂😂. Please note that this is the last birthday I am publicly saying my age😄, because next year I will be "happy 21, am loving the womanz I am becoming😄" zoeana na mkubwa mapema ndugu, tables are almost turning😂😂😂
Anyhoo, I don't know whether am excited or just there, but I know I am so challenged to be honest. Looking back on the many years, mdauu, I felt like I should be better than I am. No regrets whatsoever, the greatest thing is that I have learnt every lesson that came my way.

It's 5am, I had set alarms at 3am and 5am just incase the 3am backfires, of which it did. I decided to have some time and declare beautiful things in my life as I put the full armour of God in this new year. Ephesians 6:10-19,the full armour entails the  belt of truth buckled around my waist with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from gospel of peace. Taking up the shield of faith to extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one. Taking up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God. Finally, praying in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests 🙏.

How about this being a Thanksgiving year? Paul says that in all circumstances we should give thanks. I wish I would be giving thanks in great moments considering that no evil will befall me. Again, you know this song,"nobody told me, that the road will be easy! But I don't believe he brought me this far to leave me here😭" I am sure he will walk with me even in the storm like he did during Daniel's time. He literally shut the lions mouths, and the lions had starved for so long so the king knew, hii itakuwa one time! Remember the story of Shadrack,Micheck na huyo mwingine, they literally danced in the furnace. Furnace sio moto kidogo wadau. If am not wrong, the Bible records that there was a fourth person dancing with them 😂😂😂. All this time, the king was 'shetani ashindwe'🤣🤣🤣. The embarrassment wadauu🤭😅 Basically, that the kind of God I serve. I pray that he walks with me every step in this new year. If I fail, let me do it in his presence. That's deep?😅

Wadau, there were times I have had no money to feed myself and there times I respected my cravings, yani I had good monie to spoil thyself😄. I have had a house full of food and I have also had an empty house. I have gone shopping in a supermarket cashing out with no worries and there are times I have had to put stuff back to the shelf. I have had to pay my bills in full and on time and there are times I had to pay late. In all these circumstances, I have learnt to be humble, be kind, keep a smile and be positive.

The other day I received a call from a campus friend. Tulipiga udaku nanii. Unajua kuna positive and negative udaku😏😅, yetu ilikuwa positive wadau. We updated each other on our friends progress. "Nanii aliolewa, kina nanii walioana, so and so akona mtoi, 'ng'ania' alienda majuu, we lost so and so😒" This life a beg. My peers, punguzeni kuolewa, you are making my people think am not serious with my life 🤣🤣🤣.

On a serious note though, everyone has their own path, if someone compares you to your married friends or peers who are doing well in life, you can remind them of the friends and peers you lost on the way, clearly even being alive is enough gift to be grateful for!
Before I finish this piece, let me make a declaration that this year will be a year of favour and greatness. Whisper something good for me mdau, tunaomoka pamojaaaa😅
