Sasaa, wadau, have you heard of Balaam's story in the Bible? Punda alichoka literally 😂😂 na akaongea. Aaiya! You may think I am creating my own story! Twendeni moja kwa moja hadi Chapter 22 of the Book of Numbers (Numbers 22). 😅


Sasa, wacha niwambie, Balaam was a prophet in the Old testament. The Israelites were nearing the promised land but the surrounding nations wanted to sabotage them forcing them to go to war with them, but God was always on their side and each victory came with a message.

Balak, the king of Moab didn't have hope to defeat the Israelites. "Hapa lazima nikachoree!" Akakumbuka kuna mjamaa anaitwa Balaam, huyu jamaa alikuwa Yule msee yani, in that whatever he blessed was truly blessed and vice versa!

That's how we comfort ourselves when we clearly know we are about to do something that is against God's will🤭😅.

 I want such favour from God against my enemies 😅.

Wadau, Balaam akaamua kuwatuma back to the sender. "My God has instructed me not to curse the Israelites as you may wish!"
Balak ni nani? "Pack more gold and get back to him" he sent the messagers back. Wadau, this is so tempting for Balaam. I can't blaim him in some typa way😂😂😂 and maybe alikuwa hustler kiflani! But anyway, if you got the spirit of God in you, he will help you to overcome such temptations!

Balaam knew clearly that the Lord was against this "King Balak can give me his palace, silver and gold but I can not disobey the Lord!" He is really trying his best to fight the earthly desires, amejaribu Sana wadau. God knew that Balaam really wanted to go and so that night he sent him a message, "These men asked you to go with them! Go! But only do what I tell you!" Balaam ni nani? He sat on his donkey and went with them. "Aaaii sasa nitabless Israelites kivipi manze na nimeachiwa madollar?" I feel for you Balaam😂. Gold back then ilikuwa madollar ya siku hizi.
On his way, he came across the angel of God who stood on the road to block his way.  Balaam didn't see the angel but his donkey did and so she turned off into the field. Balaam beat the donkey to get back into the road. The angel appeared the second time and the donkey moved against the war smashing Balaam's butt🤭. Wacha Balaam aichape wadau😂😂.

The third time the angel appeared and the donkey had no choice but to lay helpless on the road. Wacha katambe wadau😂😂😂 Balaam aliichapa donkey, after the third beating, punda alichokaaaa😂😂😂 na akaongea, " Nimefanya nini ndo unichape hivi? Mara tatu sasa!!" Balaam akamshow "You have made a fool of me!"
The donkey was like, "Nimekuserve for so many years, nimewahi kufanyia hivi tena?🙄🙄🙄" You can imagine the donkey rolling his eyes 😂

Weeuh, this is where Balaam notices the angel, "If your donkey hadn't turned away from me I would have taken away your life!"
"Woiyeee, am so sorry, na venye nimekuchapa, ngaiiiee, soree, aki thanks for saving my life, woooii"😂😂 I want to think that's how Balaam said in his heart. Ooh faithful servant, thy thee thou😂😂😂
"I have sinned, if I am wrong, I will go back!" Balaam said to the angel. "Hapana, wee ishiaa, but utasema kenye God amekutuma! Hope tuko pamoja! " Nadhani angel pia alimshow aache kiherehere😅.
He finally met Balack, "manze mi nitasema kenye God anataka niseme " unacheki hiyo design!😂😂😂 Who want to die? Nobody, maybe you mdau😅😅.

In 3 places that day, Balak asked Balaam to curse the Israelites, but every time Balaam opened his mouth to curse them, Aaah wadau, baraka tele zinatokea kuhusu Wana Israeli😂😂😂 and Moabites are so pissed off right now. Weeuh, I want this kinda God against my enemies😅 You speak a curse against me, nabarikiwa zaidi😂😂😂

Ngai bado huamini ni story ya Bible 😅 check out the Book of Numbers (Numbers 22). After the third time, Balak was angry and orded Balaam to go home! "I called you to curse my enemies but you have blessed them, mara tatu, si hata moja nanii, enda Tu!!"
"Didn't I tell you that I couldn't give anything against God's command?!" Balaam answered the king."but before I leave, let me prophesy on what Israelites will do to your people, a ruler will rise from Israel, he will defeat the Moabites and the Israelites will destroy the city." Balaam prophesied the truth.

From this story, we learn that true worship is living a life pleasing to God and listening to his voice and following his command. Using our speech, voices and our actions to honour the Lord!
