Wadau and wadauresses ♥️ What a beautiful Monday to be alive😍😊😊! Mondays are all about positive vibes as we capture some stories in the Bible and draw a few lessons 🤗.
Basi Leo twende moja kwa moja hadi 1 Samuel 16 kutoka mshororo wa kwanza kuendelea😊.
We interact with Prophet Samuel who has been sent to the house of Jesse in Bethlehem. As we talk God is soo tired of King Saul and He therefore rejects him. "Fill your horn with oil and be on your way." Prophet Samuel is commanded by the Lord but he is afraid of Saul that he would hear about it and kill him.God advises him to take a heifer with him and say that he had come to sacrifice to the Lord. Meanwhile he would invite Jesse and the family. (Jesse ni Baba David nanii, soma bibilia wewe, lol😅)
When he arrives at Bethlehem, the elders tremble and question whether he comes in peace ama he is about to doom them😂😂. He of course affirm them that he came in peace ✌️😅.
He meets Jesse and his sons, from Eliab who is the eldest son to all the other sons except David. The Lord rejects all Jesse's sons and asks Samuel to send for the youngest who happens to be David. "There is the youngest, but still tending the sheep" Jesse said. Samuel sends for him and says that they wouldn't sit down till he arrives.
David is brought, ruddy, with a fine appearance and handsome features 😍.
The Lord commanded Prophet Samuel to rise and annoint him😊.
He took the horn of oil and annointed him infront of his brothers, and from that day on the spirit of God came upon David in power. Prophet Samuel finished his work and went to Ramah......
The rest is rumours 😅😂
Lessons
When Eliab, the eldest son is brought, almost everyone is convinced that this must be the one! He was tall, (dark🤭-siko sure kama alikuwa mzungu😅) but am sure he was handsome 😉. This guy would go to the war so he must be huge. I picture him wearing this set of football shoulder pads and with great muscles you know😅. Ooh, and must be talking like Arnold Schwarzenegger😂😂😂. This must be the one but NO! Cause God doesn't look at the outward appearance but the HEART💓.
Shammah appears and of course he is told "cheza kiwewe hapa brathe, you could be the next king!" Aaah shakaa, he is as well rejected! Jesse brings all his sons, maaajabu! Wote walikataliwa🤭🤭. Samuel questions whether all these were his sons, Jesse must have answered like, "mmmh, there's the young one, but he is not really a "king" material....he is just my youngest boy, David! Tending the sheep in the wilderness"..... Maaajabu! Wadau na wadauresses 😄, believe you me 😊, this is the one!
Guys, there are so many times we get into situations that we need something, some typa favour, but according to human eyes we are not qualified for it for one reason or another! Like this one time I was looking for a certain job and when I made enquiries, I was told that I must have a Godfather but I didn't have one, only God in heaven would fight for me (testimony for another day😊)
According to human eyes, you are disqualified but we forget that God qualifies the unqualified😊.
Regardless, I want you to understand that however young David was, he had a unique experience, he didn't go to war like his elder brothers yes but he would kill the lions in the wilderness when they tried attacking the sheep. That's a tough training you all! Alone in the wilderness unapambana na lion king!🤭🤭. Not easy!
I don't know whatever kind of wilderness you are in but be strong for the lessons that God is taking you through. Grab that lion and kill it😂. Sounds ridiculous but we got various kinds of lions in our lives😅. You know it!😅
Secondly, we guard our hearts more than the physical body. The Bible says that out of the heart springs the issues of life (pro 4:23). The Bible records that David was a man after God's own heart! However much he sinned, never perfect, his heart was after God's 😊😊
Remember to set an awesome tone for the week 😉, you can do it!💪💪
