Wadau, ever realized that the same place can look and feel very different at different times of the day. Can you compare the feeling in the streets when you got money and when broke? Totally different! These are days that I take to my stories to announce to whoever in town to get in touch cause am gonna spoil them😅.

Well, it's Eid Mubarak holidays and most people are relaxing in their homes. This is perfect time to spoil myself. This is the season that Muslims have taught us to be kind and so, let me walk around and get some alluring stuff from the hawkers in town. Ever heard this quote, 'Stop shopping in the malls and supermarkets, promote hawkers, these people got families too!' Aaah, why not!

I shop around and on this particular day the kanjus/city askaris are peaceful and we got all the time to look around at the tempting and attractive hawker's stuff. If you ain't keen you may walk home after spending to the last coin.

I just spotted some Adidas sweatpants. I have been planning to have some for chilling during the weekend or may be when I got a visitor, they are perfect for any body size due to its elastic nature😅.

"Can I use Mpesa?" I enquired from the saleslady. She agreed and went ahead to applaud the quality of my Adidas sweatpants. I pick my package and leave.

I get to the house and am so excited to show off whatever I had shopped, aaah wadauu, my sweatpants weren't ADIDAS but ADIDSA. Which brand is this now?🙄Nkt. Well, this ain't a big deal, let get some mabuyus and share with everyone in the house, hii kanairo hainaga huruma wadau, ukiweka kwa mdomo, it's mabuyu seeds wrapped in glucose and food color, yuck🥴🥴. Hold on guys, I think my neighbor just chopped onions cause machoss😭.

To finalize my list, I had bought a series to keep me busy over the long weekend. Wewe hawker wa hapo River Road kwa corner ya kwenda Fire station, God will deal with you, unawezaje niuzia speech ya President Kibaki😭😭😭. Let me not talk about the fake doll shoes.....😭😭😭

FIRST FLIGHT MANENOS

Wadau and wadauresses😄😄 salimikeni hewani 😎 High five to those that have sanitised😅. Now, I am about to narrate my first flight experience 😂. Weeuh, mtafurrahi😅 In 2017, a few months before our undergraduate graduation, my friend Hellen and I planned to give our Parents a surprise by booking them return tickets to Kisumu for our graduation at the only university in the Equator 😂. It was a brilliant idea since my mum had encountered a leg fracture from a motor vehicle accident earlier that year😒.
