Happy Holidays! |
Wadauuuu!!! Merry Christmas and a happy new year 2021. Imagine Twendi Twendi is gone! Its been a tough year for most of us😢. 2020 has had ups and downs. You could be wondering like, ''You had ups? cause I had downs only!'' Its fine but just like Paul says in Philippians 4:4-8 , rejoice in all situations always, giving thanks to the Almighty in the good and bad times.
Today we wanna talk about waiting! Is there fun in waiting? In my own opinion, waiting is hard! Its full of uncertainties which are hard to handle, some are more difficult and not equal to others. The other reason why waiting is hard is because we people don't like waiting and "people is me"😂.
2020 has created some memories that involved waiting and my patience was tested to the core. I get to this interview and in a few days, I am called to sign a contract to a new job that would commence the next month. I sign the letter a week earlier to the reporting so that I can give a notice to the current employer back then. I was excited on landing this lucrative job in the midst of a pandemic. Just a day before reporting date, I receive a call from the HR informing me not to report the next day since there were pending approvals. ''Well, I can give it some time! I already got the contract so no worries!'' I told myself.

Wadauu, one week down the line, no feedback. Two weeks, nothing. I grew fear and worries, It got to a point that I wished to hear even a no cause waiting in fear is terrible. One month down the line? ''Lets hope that they will speak so that I can align my new month plans" I hoped so. To cut the long story short, the contract was revoked and I felt relaxed however disappointing it was. Waiting is tiresome, its weary, but the bible is quite clear that those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength and soar with wings like eagles (Isaiah 40:31).
Its been a tough year, probably you lost a job, a family member, a friend, a court case, a cow, a dog, wherever, a loss is a loss! You could be waiting for that dream job, waiting for your family issues to fall into place, trusting God for a spouse, whatever it is, waiting is waiting.
We are not sure how 2021 looks like. I saw some meme containing a seriously injured face that symbolized a guy who was sent to check on 2021(Kenyans and humor😂). You know what that means😂. My message for you is from Habakkuk 2:1-3. Write your vision down, make it plain because the just live by faith. It may linger but it shall come to pass.
"I will stand my watch
And set myself on the rampart,
And watch to see what He will say to me,
And what I will answer when I am corrected.
The Just Live by Faith
2 Then the Lord answered me and said:
(B)“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
3 For (C)the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will (D)not lie.
Though it tarries, (E)wait for it;
Because it will (F)surely come,
It will not tarry.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND A BLESSED 2021💝💝
